Our events make professional sharpening more accessible, convenient, and efficient — whether you’re a home cook, professional chef, hunter, or collector. Drop off your items and often have them serviced the same day.

1st Annual John “Venom” Sweeney Memorial Benefit
Join the Flying Aces M.C. Bristol for a day of community, remembrance, and support for families facing life-threatening illnesses through A Week Away Foundation.
- 1:00 PM – 6:00 PM at John Schumacker VFW Post 1597.
- Live DJ, food trucks, local vendors, and a family-friendly benefit atmosphere.
- Presale tickets are $15; at the door tickets are $20.
- The Knife Guy will offer blade cleaning, inspections, consultations, and knife sales.
Sharpening depends on power access. Drop-off service is available either way.

Get your blades ready for the season
Split Lane Cycles’ Annual Spring Kickoff is a full-throttle community event with live music, food trucks, a mobile DYNO, and a variety of vendors.
Bring kitchen sets, garden shears, and mower blades for drop-off service, blade clean-up, consultations, and retail shopping.

On-site services
- Blade cleaning: clean blades help us assess the true condition of the edge.
- Professional consultations: bring that old pocket knife and get a straight answer.
- Tool drop-off: we tag, secure, and bring your tools back to the shop for professional service.
- Retail sales: shop available products when a repair is not the right answer.
No on-site sharpening at some events. If there is no electricity, drop-off service only will be available.
